The last couple of weeks I have been trying to figure out what curriculum I was going to use for next year. I will be doing a little more with my son who will be 3, and then my daughter will be in Kindergarten! We decided we were going to homeschool when she was 2, so I am pretty excited that her K year is finally here. Of course, I am nervous too. When I first started researching (back when she was 2), I thought I knew exactly what I would use. After being a member of the WTM boards and reading blogs for three years, I have obviously discovered that there is a plethora of great curriculum out there. Now how to choose, but I think I have narrowed it down. I wanted to have a list of what I needed and how much it would cost (scary!), so that I could start buying from Amazon and Barnes & Noble now. I figure if the cost gets spread out over the next six months it won't feel like I spent so much. Maybe?! There are also a lot of great used curriculum sales around here in the spring and summer, and then there is the Homeschool Convention. I could spend hours and hundreds of dollars in there! I'm very excited to finally try out some of these programs that I first started reading about so long ago. I'm even more excited to see what K likes!
