Last Friday was K's last day of preschool (K4 really). I was sort of sad, but mostly excited to move on to all of the curriculum that I have been researching for quite some time. (I am having a really hard time typing right now. I tried to cut off my finger with a vegetable peeler yesterday, and this band aid is causing some typing issues...so this is going to be short, since I'm tired of hitting backspace already!) I had a great time teaching K this year, and I'm pretty sure K enjoyed it too because she is excited to stay home for Kindergarten. She learned so much this year, and I was continually amazed by her. She is now reading (yay!), and she has never had any problem with math. She is very creative, and would be completely happy if we just did art projects all day. Yesterday I found out I need to step it up though. She informed me that the art projects we do are too easy. Hopefully the program that I will be using for next year will up to her standards! We will be doing a light schedule this summer, but I'll write more about what we are doing in my next post (when my finger is free again). Below are a couple of pics from her last day. I still can't believe she is old enough to go to Kindergarten.
How fun!... and bittersweet... I can't wait to see what your picks for Kindergarten are.
