I can't believe this school year is almost over already. We only have two more weeks until our summer begins. (If I was going by the weather then summer started a few weeks ago, it's been warm around here!) K has been doing K4/K work, and she has done much more than I ever expected. She loves learning and she picks up on everything I present to her very quickly. On average we did school for about 45 minutes a day, 4 days a week. It is amazing how much learning can be accomplished when you are working one on one with a child. We are going to do a light schedule over the summer for about 5 weeks, and then take 2 weeks off before officially starting Kindergarten in late July. I will also be starting preschool with my son so that should be interesting...for me. I think he will do great, but I'm curious how it will work doing school with both of them at the same time. I'm sure there will be quite a bit of trial and error!
This is a list of everything K did this school year:
Singapore Earlybird Math
Abeka Math K
Abeka Handwriting K & Zaner-Bloser Handwriting K (she loves writing!)
Explode the Code
1 & 2 (she's about half way through)
All About Spelling 1 (Steps 1 - 10)

Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading

book 2 and part of book 3
Geography (I made up my own ~ learned about a different country each week)
